Hi,

Before you go crazy replacing the shifter rod seals, make sure that the
tranny can vent properly... if the vent hole is plugged, the tranny will
push oil out of the strangest places.

Just something to check before diving into the tranny.

As for replacing the seals themselves, the process i well documented. I do
understand that some folks have problems getting out the set screws that
hold the shifter forks to the shifter rods (they seem to break easily).
But the job is not rocket science and can actually be done without
removing the tranny - just remove the top cover and work on the shifter
portion on your work bench.
