John---Since the 'spare' distributor you now have lets the engine run great, it should be possible to swap parts one at a time, from this unit to the one you have that caused the miss. This can be time consuming, but is less expensive than buying a rebuilt unit. And you'll get to learn much about the TR distributor. If possible, arm yourself with a timing light, test light, and a dwell meter. A multimeter is ways handy for spotting some general electrical gremlins. Dick Taylor '73  |
