Overdrive question

I recently purchased a 74 parts car with an overdrive transmission. reverse 
gear was broken and the box dismantled to repair. I want to sell overdive to 
recoup some of outlay and my questions are:

1. Can I sell just o/d unit and output shaft for someone to convert a standard 
trans. If so what parts should be included as shipping is expensive for entire 
transmission.
