Hey listers;
Recently, I had to send back a cast aluminum valve cover that I got from
Moss, which had been poorly finished (fins ground down too much). Also,
the lip against which the gasket was to seat was full of pits and voids.
You would think, for what they charge for these things, the quality
would be there! I even went back to Moss and asked them to check the
rest of their stock to see if I just happened to get a bad one or were
they all like that. They checked and said: "Nope, they're all that way!"
Has anyone found a high quality valve cover (either steel or aluminum)?
Seems like you'd like to have nice looking valve cover to top off a
refinished engine.
