Jeff, one thing that I noticed you hadn't checked for was a clogged fuel
tank outlet. You mentioned replacing the rubber fuel line, but did you
actually try draining fuel from the tank? Will fuel flow continuously
before the pump with the line disconnected and pointed into a container
(held lower than the tank ) or does it tend to slow down after a few
seconds. A clogged steel line or tank outlet would allow fuel to be
pumped for a few minutes, until the line starves. Then it would slowly
pull enough into the line to allow the car to start again. Just a
thought. Good luck.
