Listers,
I just created a little enthusiast last night!!!! My 2 year old daughter
has recently started playing in my 72 Tr-6. While my 9 month pregnant wife
was resting yesterday evening, I asked Peyton (the 2 year old) if she wanted
to go for a ride. She got a huge grin on her face and ran for the car door.
So I snugged in the car seat, adjusted the baby-seat safety seat belt clip
and warmed up the car. Usually she puts up a little fight to get into the
car seat. But for the first time ever, she scrambled into her seat all by
herself and fought to pull down the overhead arm of the baby-seat to get
buckled up. It was toooo cute. She looked a little nervous as I started
the car and backed out of the garage, but as we rode down the street with
her little blonde locks flowing in the breeze all she could do was grin. To
keep her first ride kind of gentle, I took her to look at new houses in our
neighborhood. Every time we went into one of the new houses under
construction, all she could do was point out the window to the car and say
"dada ride! dada ride!" It was a blast! My 9 year old loves to ride in
the car, and now with Peyton enjoying it, and the 3rd daughter almost here,
I am going to have to modify the trunk into a rumble seat!
Later
