hoses, roadside TR6 repair manual and rosary. Anything to guys and gals

Charlie,
You did say how far of a trip, couple hours, couple days????
A few hours, really only needs basic tools from your tool pouch, you mean you
don't have a tool pouch always tucked in the boot?
A few days, like to a convention or something, well lets see for those trips
I always have hoses, clamps, fuel pump rebuild kit, plugs, cap rotor, cond,
water pump, water, oil, alternator, belts, just about anything you can fit
that might give out and you KNOW you will not find in the local pep boys.
Some may think this is too much, back in 94 on our way too VTR in Rockford my
friends met up with me and each had only cloths, cleaning stuff and beer,
nedless to say my TR was packed so tight with spares, cleaning suff and beer
you could not fit anything else, well on the way out Dennis's TR6 fuel pump
crapped out and it was an aftermarket kind so my kit would not work, so we
had to wait until his wife red labeled the new one, the other guys water pump
pully bit the dust on the return home, unfortunatily he had a TR4, luckily we
were in Ohio at the time and Darrell Floyd was nearby. Needless to say I
experienced no problems, why? Because I had the TR so crammed full of spares
that it wasn't funny.
Just use Murphy's Law when traveling and you should do just fine.
Good Luck
