I've just contacted the tech department of POR. They sell a paint-on product that doesn't do what ceramic coatings do in terms of heat control, but they solve the aesthetics or cosmetic issues and probably corrosion control, at least on the exterior of the manifold. Their POR-20 and FACTORY MANIFOLD GRAY are good up to 1400 degrees F and can be applied to sandblasted aluminum intake manifolds, too. May not be better than getting manifold paint from your local Pep Boys or NAPA store, who knows. |
