Just happen to have the trans tunnel off my '70. Will look
at it and the manual when I get home tonight. It has 3
switches on top of the gear selector part of the trans. -
one may be for B.U. lites. There is also a relay out by the
fuse box that is activated by a contact closure on one of
these switches (gear dependent). The intent is prohibit O.D.
activation in 1st and rev., 1st will work but rev. will
trash a bearing in the unit that only rotates in one
direction.
Will send the wiring sequence to this evening.
