Mmmmm... Solid Mahogany Dash Board Eh! I am surprised that the Brits did not
think of that. Maybe there is a reason. Maybe they are one step ahead of us
and used plywood with a veneer for a reason. From Rain to shine from Snow to
the Hot beaches of Brighton or Clacton upon Sea, these changes in the
weather with the top down could be disastrous for a beautiful piece of
finished mahogany. There would be no give so to speak. Eventually the
warpage would win and cracks would appear in the grain. Maybe they had a
reason not to go to the extreme comfort of being surrounded by the richness
of Mahogany.
