Having had the new style Bosch pump and filter fitted during a recent
rebuild, the pump had performed fine for about 250 miles, but began
to make a howling noise when backing off the throttle. It would
usually stop as the car slowed down, however yesterday it became more
persistent, until it was almost constant. I got home just as it was
getting dark, and couldn't do much, but it seemed as though the pump
wasn't vibrating that much - but the PRV was.
I know most people on the list are running non-PI cars but does
anyone have any suggestions?
