David---Major brand spark plugs come is various heat ranges. Auto parts
stores have cross reference charts. If your engine is more or less
stock, you will probably want the equivalent of the Champion N12Y's for
the proper heat range in the NKG's. So far as the proper gap, again the
'book' calls for .025. If you have an electronic ignition and wiring
capable of a hotter and stronger spark, this gap can be increased to
.030 or even .035.
