Ken-An easy way to determine if the od is engaged is to put the trans in neutral, then try to push the car backwards. If the od is stuck, the trans will feel "locked". Some times a whack to the brake ring area will free the clutch. Also, a stuck sol. can cause a similar problem. This advice may come too late for you as it sounds like the trans&od suffered some serious damage. Berry |
