I think the later tr6's - 1976 - may have come from the factory without the rear
valance painted semi-black.

Is there any way to confirm if any 6's were sold without the black tail.  I
have mentioned before that I was told my paint was original but now with so
many responses regarding the black paint I am starting to wonder.
