I once thought of puting a/c in my 74 Tr6. I only
entertained the thought because a complete system came
with my car! I have since decided that the weather is
not that hot (Ohio) and I dont have time to dink with
it, but anyway I did have an Idea on getting the junk
out of the driver's side foot box. It seems perfectly
possible (from looking at the old system) to not
install the driver's side piece, and instead run the
cold air over to the fresh air vent left of the
steering wheel. You would then have to install the
controls in a remote location. I never really tried to
rig it up so I don't know if it will work. I also
never thought to make any provisions for the
passenger.
