Dear listers, I was reading the factory service manual for my 76 and found that the reccommended damper oil for the carbs is castrol gtx 20w50 for temps between 30 and 80 F. However TRF sells special oil ($9 for a small bottle). Has anyone tried either of these oils? Is it worth the expense for the TRF damper oil or should I save my money. Thanks for your help Joseph Garruba |
