Steve-Yes it is loosened by turning in counterclockwise direction. You might want to replace the square-headed plug with a hex head. Also, if you cut a hole in the tunnel opposite the plug, you can remove the plug with a socket&extension, as well as check the oil level without jacking up the car. Cover the hole with a rubber plug like the one used in the floor board. Berry |
