Got into the transmission today to replace the clutch and in trying to
remove the pin out of the release fork it broke off below where the threads
start. The release fork is somewhat loose on the shaft but the pin half
won't drop out. We've hit the release fork with a hammer several times
thinking the pin would drop. Next idea is to degrease the area to see of
old grease/dirt is holding it in place. Anyone run into this before and if
so how did you manage to get it out?
btw thanks for the advise on the pilot bushing the old one was worn...
