Don---On some TR door locks it's necessary to squeeze the spring-loaded clips that hold these locks in position. They snap into place when installing them, but the "barbs" keep them from backing out. A pair of needle nose pliers or a well placed screwdriver blade can dislodge the grip from these clips. Put your key in the lock, twist and pull out on the unit at the same time. It's easier to picture this if you have possession of the new door locks, as it's kind of crowded when peeking thru the door panel. Dick T '73 L.A. |
