I have some head and cam mods also, and don't find that an oil cooler is
necessary. I fitted an electric fan in front of the rad that I turn on
when I sit in traffic on hot days. I drove the car all last summer,
sometimes in over 100 degree weather, and never had the coolant temp go
over 210 degrees even when sitting in traffic for quite a time. It usually
ran at 180-190. I use a 160 degree thermostat. I bought the aluminum
radiator shroud from Goodparts which helped a bit because it doesn't move
around and let air get by like the stock cardboard one does.
