Hi, I'm in the middle of a major brake job on my 73TR, master cylinder rebuild, shoes, wheel cylinder rebuild, adjusters etc. Now that I've got the rear wheels striped to the back plate, is there anything else I should consider doing while I'm at it? Is it worth it to paint the back plate? Do you paint the exterior of the brake drum? Also what are the advantages or disadvantages of switching to the silicone brake fluid? Thanks for the help!
