The museum is housed in the George Bishop Graham Brothers Truck and Bishop Brothers original dealership opened in 1928, and features the original terzia tile floor, bottled glass archways, and hand crafted doors with stained glass and marble inlays that were fashioned by master craftsman that worked for the dealership.
It is on the National Historic Register and features over 24,00 sf of museum space with over 60 automobiles, fire trucks, motorcycles, bicycles, and memorabilia all placed around authentic replicas of downtown Shreveport in its infancy.

Exhibits: Although the Boothbay Museum is primarily devoted to exhibits on railroading, there is a display of antique cars. About 25 autos are in the collection of which 22 are on display. The cars range from a 1911 Ford up to more recent classics. Since many,of the cars are on loan, the exhibit continually changes. The railroad section features a 11/2-mile loop of 2-ft. gauge track over which a steam train operates when the museum is open and two stations filled with historic items. Another part of the Museum consists of a reproduction of an early New England village.

Exhibits: The Fire Museum of Maryland was founded in 1971 as a non-profit corporation to establish a museum of vintage fire apparatus and memorabilia. The history of firefighting is de- picted from the early hand-pumped engines to modern appara- tus. On display are 25 motor driven pieces of fire equipment, dating from a 1913 Seagrave on up to engines from the late 40s. There is a large collection of fire alarm telegraph equip- ment and memorabilia. This is one of the largest antique fire museums in the United States.

Exhibits: The collection of automobiles is part of the Edaville Museum which includes exhibits on railroading, and antique fire equip- ment. The auto exhibit contains 12 cars ranging from a 1905 White Steamer to a 1932 Rolls. At the Edaville Railroad are two Model T Fords rebuilt as 2-ft. gauge rail inspection cars and sev- eral fire engines on display.

Exhibits: Housed in a unique round barn, the collection of over 30 cars is a cross section of American autos from an 1899 Winton to classic cars of the 1930s. A motion picture about antique autos and a diorama of a Barney Oldfield race can also be seen. The 76-acre site contains extensive plantings of Rhododendrons which bloom in spring and early summer.

Exhibits: The Museum, founded in 1928, is a city department assisted by the Detroit Historical Society. The changing exhibits portray city life and the history of the region. The auto collection contains 27 cars representing 19 makes. The size of the vehicle exhibit varies and often includes cars on loan from private collectors. A visit to the Museum gives one a good background on the history of Detroit and the rise of the auto industry.

Exhibits: The Henry Ford Museum was established by the well-known auto pioneer in the 1920's and has grown to be one of the foremost collections of its type. In the 14-acre main building is the Mechanical Arts Hall with its extensive transportation dis- play. Over 200 fully restored automobiles trace the evolution of the motor vehicle from the Roper steam carriage of 1863 to modern day cars.
