While this roadster (named after EXNER) could accomodate two persons, it was basically a one-man
vehicle. There was a curved windshield in front of the driver, and a small
auxiliary one for the passenger which folded flat down and was covered when
not in use. The passenger seat was lower than the driver's so the wind would
not blow on him. The front bumper of the XNR was actually the frame for the
grille and was made of heavy stock and so mounted that it absorded all the
shock which normal bumpers could withstand. The entire interior was done up in black leather and aluminium.
Plymouth Falcon based XNR from 1961.
