Wm. Buchman of San Francisco

Does anybody remember a fabricator or a race preperation person Wm. 
Buchman of San Francisco in the early 70's?

I ran across a Sunbeam Alpine from the late 60's which had been raced 
with a really nicely built rollbar (welded in).   On the bar is a tag 
with "Built by Wm. Buchman, San Francisco"
It really is well done.  I couldn't find any other details on the car 
to determine the previous owner or origin of the car.
