"global brain damage" would mean a severe concussion..that's >100G's. Suprisingly, it takes 90G's to get a concussion. I suspect that his helmet must have contacted something outside the car. It's a good idea to have all roll bar near the head to be covered in the hard expanded foam stuff (not the soft easily compressed stuff). christopher, sorry to hear of a fellow racer's misfortune. |
