| Without question, The compound supercharged 3 row radial engines that powered the Lockheed Constellation. What a sound. Used to listen to those on the streets of Manhattan as a kid in the late 40's as they powered up out of LaGuardia gaining altitude over 110th and Broadway. Nothing in the world to compare.
