MGB racer from Las Vegas

Greetings all,
Does anybody remember hearing of someone buying an SCCA MGB from Las Vegas 
area about 8-10 years ago?  It was Red with Black flames on the rear.  If you 
know the car you'll remember the flames.  Had a poor copy of Huffaker 
suspension on the front.
I was very involved in building the car and wondered where it went.  Steve
