Subject: | TR-3A: Skid pad oil starvation question |

I would like to take my TR-3A out on a circular skid pad to measure G forces and to check for over or understeer. The drill is to drive around a marked circle at ever increasing speed until either the front tires, back tires or all tires let go. I'm concerned about oil starvation. It seems to me, however, that if I top the oil up and confine my experiments to right turns everything should be ok, since the intake to the oil pump is slightly to the left of the engine's center line. Does this sound safe? John Cowan |
