I live in CA and am buying a late model car from out of state that I will be making into a race-only car. Do I need to bother registering non-op and titling in CA, or do I not need to worry about it. I'm wondering what benefit there is to doing the reg thing - does it make it easier to sell down the road, or does that not matter on a race car. No plans to put this one back on the street ever.
