 Racing safety does seem to be a relative thing too. I was watching the 
Goodwood festival and notice the lack of roll bars in this one open wheel 
group. And at the first turn there was an incident and a driver was ejected 
and went up in the air about 15 feet, coming to rest on a pile of hay bales. 
He wasn't even wearing a seat belt!
