Thanks, I tried a mixture of molasses and water, about 50/50, on some rust on 
the inside of an MGTD rear fender.  I expected it to work like navel jelly, 
left it on for an hour or more and didn't get any results except I had to 
keep my dog away, she kept licking it up.  I guess the effect takes place 
over a longer period of time, like 2 1/2 weeks.  Thought it might be worth a 
try though.  I don't feel so stupid now, glad my wife didn't get wind of this.
