Bill Scott, Summit Point and their attorney
would like to have as many
people as we can get show up at the hearing on
Tuesday, January 16, 2001, at
the Jefferson County Planning Commission, 108
E. Washington St. in Charles
Town, WV. The hearing is scheduled for 7:30 PM
but we would like to get
there early, around 7:00 to hand out pins
identifying us as pro Summit Point.
The attorney has said anyone from anywhere is
welcome since it is a
public hearing and some of the anti Summit
Point forces actually live in
Virginia.
In addition, the attorney would like as many
letters as possible
supporting the track, addressed to the
Planning Commission but sent to Summit
Point so they can be presented together to the
Commissioners. Please try to
get all letters to the track by Monday,
January 15.
