Again, as I said in an earlier post, I think the secret is in the mfg's recommended stretch for that bolt in that application. I would guess that those stretch specifications will vary with several factors including bolt length. Stretch for the Pinto bolts in my S 2000 is set at .0063 to .0067. What it would be for a Chevvie you would have to find in the package for that engine. L.D. |
