Rick's '66 Nova is documented to have raced in the Trans-Am in 1971 with a
350cid engine. The car came with a 327 when new and the Trans-Am was limited
to 5.0L.
For whatever reason, a 350 was used and since the car was so heavy, it never
did that well and nobody complained. That's history. You can't change it and
you shouldn't abitrarily outlaw it either.
