How about a "double Crosley" engine. I know a elderly retired marine machinist in Tampa, who used to build hydroplane engines (many Alfa 1300's), who used to run a straight eight Crosley engine in a boat. He mated two crosleys nose to nose and coupled the cranks somehow. After many many years he now has it running again. |
