re: Spped Diff. and LeMans etc.

Legend has it that the winning D type was broken up after the race and
the parts scattered among various other cars etc. Recently the car
surfaced at Lime Rock having been reassembled by someone. I know the
current owner and don't doubt that it's an authentic D type but one 
can't help but wonder how much of it survived from the original.
