Eleven years and 100+ K miles in a `58 Corvette Fuelie and not once did my T-10 jump out of gear. I did replace the third gear synchro ring once. The only common problem that I know of was that they refused to go into second when very cold. I could always get around that by not using the clutch ( it would drop right in)and the problem went away after a mile or two. I`ll bet that todays synthetic gear oils would cure it. Don |
