Well, my find wasn't in a barn, it was in a junkyard in Newport News, VA. It was a Lotus Eleven ex-works 1957 Sebring car. Paid $400, talked down from the asking price of $450. It was't very nice, but in 1972 it looked really good to a high school junior, who drove a $325 1957 356A Porsche cabriolet. Yes, I sold the Porsche, but kept the Lotus. Brett Johnson |
