This year's races were good for me because:
1. there were too many porsche drivers on Sat, and they didn't come
back on Sun.
2. the best racing was on Sunday.
3. got to see the Can Am 917's whooshing around the track.
4. got to hear the Endurance 917's shreeking around the track.
5. the wife kept the whinning down because she got to see J. Leno
and J. Seinfield walking around.
6. the wife kept whinning because she couldn't find anything to buy
in Carmel.
This was the 25th yr. the Monterey Races have been held.
(ferrari,jag.,porsc.,alfa. already featured twice,Lotus celebrating it's
50TH yr once 3 yrs ago).
Guess I'll keep going back even though some things aren't "fair" because
now it's a family tradition. Like the endeavour of vintage racing.
