Your response confused me. How could a one wire alternator have three wires? A couple of years ago, I converted my TR3 vintage racer to a one wire and it literally had one wire! I attached it to the positive side of the battery and everything worked fine, including both an ammeter and voltmeter already in the car. John Harkness |
