| Subject: | Steel Crank for MGA 1622 |

Does anyone know of a source of steel (billet) crank for 1622 MGA motor? Just broke my 2nd reworked (crack tested, shot peaned, cross drilled, polished, nitrided and reground) stock crank and I am starting to consider that it could be cheaper to invest in a billet crank than keep feeding it reworked cast cranks every 2 years. PS we have a medium tune engine, limited to 6000 RPM, but race typically 2500 miles a year, so it gets a pretty good work-out. Malcolm, Napa |
