You're right. I forgot about all the Sprigets that use a panhard bar with success. Does it work as well on the half eliptical springs as it does on the quarters? I have seen panhard bars on Mustangs rip the spring mounts right off the car due to a binding condition. Watts links have been around since the early Trans-am days, but they probably aren't historically correct on a lot of vintage cars. Incidentally, neither is a Panhard bar, unless it was provided by the manufacturer. JW |
