Thom....

Here in Australia Geoff Dunlop raced a Mini Marcos several seasons ago =
in Group Sb. However, he got pushed out into the wall at Amaroo Park =
and took a fairly heavy hit - as a result he has abandoned racing, but =
has rebuilt the car and now runs it in the New South Wales Hillclimb =
Championship. There are also several other Mini Marcos in good repair =
in Australia. There are some fibreglass moulds in existence over here =
for some of the panels, I believe - you will need a good fibreglass =
specialist if the car is really sorry.

If you can't get any relevant info over in the US (assume that is where =
you are located) please email me direct and I'll try to get Geoff to =
answer your queries.

....regards...Andrew "Axeman" Pursey....1955 Morris Oxford (racing in =
Group Na pre'58 Classic Saloons), 1956 Morris Isis (almost a daily =
driver) and 1996 Saab 900S Coupe (quality worse than most LBCs and Saab =
attitude to customers worse than BL ever was back in the 70s - don't buy =
a Saab)....alternate email saabsux@hotmail.com

Hi everybody,

Yesterday somebody offered me a Mini Marcos in a rather sorry state. Can =
anybody give me answers to the following questions:

- What are the technical data ?
- How can i identify the car (marks or chassis number)
- How is it homologated for (historic) racing ?
- What is the homologation number ?
- Where can i get a parts list and homologation file ?
- Did anybody race such a car and can give me data ?

Thanks,

Thom Fransen
