Guess it's time to add my 2 cents.  Had a nasty accident at Gingerman this
spring, involving two rotations, hitting roll bar twice, slamming down on
wheels at end.  Damn glad I had collar on!  No, repeat no, neck injury.  Had
others, but nothing to the neck.  Not even a sore neck the next day.  I'd
guess I not only would have had a bad neck injury, but likely broken collar
bone as well.  John Harkness
