at the CSRG April Thunderhill meet tech inspectors were told that as of the
next event all lug nuts  should  be  be open ended so the stud length can be
 visually inspected, closed end  lug nuts should be drilled or the ends cut
off  enough to allow inspection without removal.  I was told this by Fred
Temps (head of tech).  
 If your studs are  not visible you might  have  to remove one in tech to
verify length of studs.
