What is the current practice for venting a 1275cc A series race engine? Vizard recommends at least two breathers off the valve cover. Depending on what timing case you use, you may be able to fit a breather there, as well. Finally, there's a device called "Evac-u-sys" that uses exhaust manifold vacuum to create crankcase vacuum. APT (Vizard's American connection) used to sell them, though I've never tried it. |
