Radiator overflow container on a 2500M

When I got my '74 2500M, the plastic radiator overflow tank lacked a
lid and the tube from the expansion tank only extended about an inch
into the tank.  Does anyone know where to get a replacement or at least 
a lid?  It is not TR6, and a parts-origin list I once saw listed it as
"generic."  Also, shouldn't the tube reach down closer to the bottom
so that the coolant overflow will siphon back in?
