I uprated the rear springs on my live axle '67 TR4A back in the day and got
the same result described by John, so from personal experience I would nor
recommend it.

fer spring might be too firm. If a rigid axle, stiffer springs potentially =
lead to evermore skittish back ends as well. Don?t ask how I know this. War=
