So the announcement of Moss and Rimmer's is misleading at best.=C2=A0 They =
announced that they were joining forces but in actuality they are joining a=
LARGE conglomerate in which they are but a small cog in the machine.=C2=A0=
It all depends on how much autonomy the managing directors of each company=
will enjoy.=C2=A0 I don't expect any cooperation outside of parts sourcing=
 operations.

Gentlemen,=C2=A0 by now most of you have been made aware of the Rimmer/Mos=
s
business combination that they euphemistically call a "partnership".

This raised a number of questions in my mind, so I sent an email to each of
them. I received a response from Rimmer today to which I then replied.
Below, is the thread of the email communications between us.

Dear Andrew, thank you very much for your prompt and enlightening reply.=C2=
=A0 I
certainly hope this business combination will ultimately be a positive for
both your customers and the employees of both Rimmer and Moss.

As a longtime customer, I hope and trust that all customers will be be kept
informed of all changes resulting from the combination.

Additionally, I certainly hope that the combination will allow the
continuation, and hopefully expansion of support for the Triumph TR7=C2=A0 =
and
TR8 models.=C2=A0 Unfortunately, this was not the case when Moss acquired t=
he
business of=C2=A0 Victoria British here in the USA.

Thanks again,
Bill Smith
