Yes, the blanking plate from a small block Chevy works just fine

I ran a facet at least 10 years ago - relying on Randalls choice of part nu=
mbers.
I was in a hurry and found a chevy fuel blanking plate that I hear fit the =
Triumph just fine - and it does. With blanking plate and pump in hand I sa=
w the mounting holes were almost identical.
I took some old MG rubber exahust mounts and sandwiched them between the bl=
anking plate and my new pump and presented it to the engine. It's been rel=
atively quiet in operation and have had no issues with the mounting locatio=
n. By the way it squirted gas, it must be close to the level of the bottom=
of the tank.
